LEEE Interview Q&A (Based on Transcript)
1. How to prepare for theoretical part? Is choosing DBMS and DSA okay?
Answer
- DBMS and DSA are okay choices.
- For DBMS, questions were mostly around:
- Functional dependencies
- Normalization
- Keys (super key, aggregate key, etc.)
- Basic definitions and examples
- DSA questions are generally simple and focused more on understanding and thought process rather than coding.
- Seniors recommended:
- Going through previous Facebook interview sheets/transcripts
- Understanding algorithms conceptually instead of memorizing code
- Preparing at least one math subject and one strong core subject deeply
- Do not skip subjects completely; interviewers may ask from subjects visible in your transcript.
2. How easy was it to manage shifting colleges after selection? What about transfer credits?
Answer
- Credits generally do not transfer; you mostly start fresh.
- Difficulty depends heavily on your current college administration.
- Common requirements mentioned:
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Semester mark sheets
- Several seniors said the transition academically can be difficult because IIITH workload is much heavier.
- Continuous assignments and semester-long effort are expected.
- Seniors advised not to stress too much about this before the interview.
