General (About LEEE) / Not sure (Plan to branch transfer) - LEEE Questions

1. How should I properly prepare for LEEE? Especially for Maths — do they ask a lot of questions from Maths, or is the exam mostly focused on technical subjects? if it’s maths then what all should i focus more on?
2. I am almost done with my 1st semester. I have only learnt C language. I have not built any projects or anything like that. So I’ve not done any exceptional things to set myself apart from the other guys. I am unable to manage both college and my own learning. I just wanted to know how did you guys managed it. I am that type of a guy who’ll do good and best if I spend time on something, but I’m really finding it difficult to manage time. I’m scared if the remaining 2 years will pass by in the same way like this semester. Just need little advice to push myself further.
3. the weightage of maths and digital logic, and the depth of questions that will be asked in the exam
4. Is there anyone in ecd who has less than 8CGPA…During interview they ask about cgpa?

LCD - LEEE Questions

1. What type of projects did the professor look for?
2. For the aptitude section, what are the specific topics to focus on
3. Doubts:
   • If I have a one subject back.
   • i have started preparing leee but I don’t know about research field
4. How to manage college stuff (practicals, endsems etc.—spent a whole month on these just now) with extra LEEE prep? My college doesn’t really cover LEEE syllabus, even the parts it does, it’s not at all on the same level; it’s all getting really hectic and stressful tbh
5. What to do if this fails is there any plan B if then can you me some guidance?
6. Please suggest Good resources for preparation for people who can’t rely on college classes

   • We are aware that the written exam is based on the given syllabus and that gate-level questions are asked. We might also get questions from CN, OS, and DBMS. However, we do not have much idea regarding the interview. Please help us know what strategies you prepared using all available resources—be it Quora, Facebook pages, Reddit, etc. Essentially, what did you expect the interview to be, and how different was it actually?
   • Also, after coming to IIIT-H, you must have had a chat with your fellow LCD people. Did they have the same kind of interview experience as you? Basically, we want to know more about what the interviewers expected from the student, what kind of questions they ask, and how they expect the student to respond.

• Last but not least, does prior research experience, or anything similar, help in gaining an edge?

   • Is 75% in 12th board examinations mandatory to be eligible for the LEEE exam?
   • How should I prepare effectively for the Aptitude Test section in LEEE? Any specific topics, resources, or preparation strategy?
   • In the subject section of LEEE, are the questions mostly deep problem-solving oriented or more basic conceptual questions?
   • Coding questions asked in LEEE are MCQ-based or written/descriptive?
   • Coding questions are asked in which programming languages? only C, or are other languages also permitted?
   • Is practicing GATE-level questions helpful for LEEE preparation, or would that be unnecessary?
2. How much practice for maths is necessary and for every subject we should(cs+maths) do gate pyqs?
