Thank you. Thank you. Thank you So hello guys, we'll start then. There are a lot of questions. We'll go one by one. Okay. Nihal, are you there? When you use any hand, it doesn't seem to be there. Okay. Okay, dress code, formula, casual. Obviously it's casual. So people wear anything they want. Doesn't really matter. That much. Does anyone have to add anything to this? Casual only. It's just admission stuff. You don't do that. How are the placements and internship seasons looking for L3P students this year? mean, we don't have any of the specific placement session or something. We are combined with LCD with PSDs as well, so it doesn't matter. Right? For LED as well. Okay. I have heard that MS program can extend by management 2 to 3 years. Why does this happen? What precautions can we take to avoid details? Not exactly 2 to 3 years. It does not extend with everyone. It depends on your advisor and depends on your lab. Like I have heard two seniors in CVIT who have taken up six years to do, but You can take SDRC, for example, or Pre-Cog. They usually graduate in time. But really less depend on the advisor and it's lab. And. Okay, Sami. Okay, Sami is here. Sami is from Pre-Cog. I mean, how much more fees would have to pay in total per four years? Do I not need to pay for a fifth year? I mean, yes, you don't have to pay for a fifth year. It's only tuition fee which is wavered of. So, messy and hostile fee you still have to pay. Tuition fee is not there in fifth year. That is fair. Yeah, only hostile members. epeep has come and we can relax. what is your exchange with any kids coping with the other easy kids academically and in terms of connections maybe here i suppose you decide home under okay so basically it might seem a bit difficult i mean i don't know what led but i think for lcd is a kind of a bit difficult um to cope maybe i mean you can get into until average i think so that shouldn't be a problem you're not right what's your question What is experience with you guys talking with your UT kids academically? It's not hard. They're not that smart. They're not that smart. At least for LA. For EC. Yeah, but LC, it's a bit different case. Yeah. I mean, people are a bit smart, but think it's connections. Yeah, they join from first year, so they have good connections. It'll take time. It's not like we can't do it, but it'll take time. And by which year are you supposed to? Yeah, you didn't miss anything, Sanjum. They just dress code placements are combined. MS could happen depending on your advisor. You have to fear no fee, only hostel and MSP. And this one, so basically after your second year, which is after your first year, 888 either one, you'll have to pick an advisor. So that time you'll have to decide under whom will you do MS. That still is one year from now. So you can explore until then and take some time, explore other labs, other advisors, other seniors are working under the advisor. They can give you a better idea at what they are working on, how the advisor is in general. Will my current CGPA be carried forward or how does the grading system work there? So your CGPA won't be carried over. That's basically zero. You start from zero. Where CGPA starts from third SIM. So your existing CG is wiped out. You have 9 plus CG, 9.910 in your old college. It doesn't matter anymore. It's 0 from now on. Yeah, do you have to add something, Nehal. You're saying something. I mean, even on the bright side, if it's slow, it's good now, because you can start fresh. I know some L.E. Senior had more CG here than that. Yeah. No, LCD. these resort Rahul and all these people had a lot of CG now okay and so how is the weather in Hyderabad throughout the year I mean it's pretty normal like right now the rains have started in Hyderabad as well until now it's very sunny the one month like May to June it was very sunny but now it's fine now it starts raining and it's kind of cool chill And how comfortable and well maintained are the hostel rooms. Hostel rooms are pretty fine. I think I've sent a picture also. I don't think so. Wait, okay. I didn't send it, but it's pretty fine. These guys will get new hostel, right? I don't think so. Do they get hostel? They stay with these UG kids. Okay, D-vlog. Yeah, D-vlog, yes. But again, I think they'll be pushed into E-blocks for some reason. Because that's how we were then, right? No, but we are still occupying that, no, sir. We are not moving out of it. Yes, right. But D-blocks are better or E-block? Same, same. Same only. They come to clean once a month in the beginning. Twice, bro. I think twice a month they clean the room. Yeah. Corridors. Corridors every day, restroom twice and twice a day and rooms twice a month. Okay, that's good. So you don't have to worry about getting your rooms clean. You can just go and inform the security guard. No, I think he'll call people if needed. What are the main documents required for the whole transfer process from our previous university? So you just need a TC and four semester mark sheets. So only five documents, first sem, second sem, third sem, fourth sem, and then your TC. So you don't need anything more than that. Really not required. And I mean, they'll send a mail anyway. Like you'll get a mail. And they'll mention everything in that whatever documents you need. where internships and stuff to companies come to campus or do people find it outside so in terms of placement companies do come but internships may we have unofficial intern drive companies do come but it's mostly considered off campus but seniors do help it's like that it's kind of off campus but seniors help in getting the placement What are the odds of people finishing their MS in first year? So I think by first year you mean fourth year. Like, no, I think you mean fifth year. I mean, uh, UG5. UG5, yeah, right. So I think it's a lot. Only few advisors are like, you have to say. Yeah, most of them. Unless you join C. West. CVH, only LED, you know. I think these guys might know like who will graduate late and who will graduate early. Seniors would be. Yeah, it's very prof dependent. Some might, some might even graduate even fourth year. Some might wait till fifth year, even if you don't finish anything, I'll kick you out. It's very varied. So you can choose whatever you want. If you want better research or quick graduation, you can always choose. So, okay. Where can I find the latest syllabus for ECD? Website only has 2018. I think we have the document, no? We guys got the document. Monson, yeah. M25 we got. I think we can share once they pay fees if they pay fees. Yeah, in the WhatsApp group may only you can send later probably. You can add them in the new WhatsApp group and you can share them. Yeah, yeah. And any idea when Sam 3 will start for us? July 20, 29th or something. Wait, let me check. late July, classes will start from 1st August. Yeah, it's M26 now. 26. It says July 27th, July, July, August 2nd or something. The first day of classwork is 30th, okay, 30th July. Same and last July. Yeah, 30 in July you'll get your classes started. Same question. So what? Where is it? Let's close. Okay. Do we get two different degrees or an integrated degree? You get two different degrees, but you have to complete both of them. You can't leave one in between. That's not possible. So you have to do both of them and you'll get two different degrees. You can do one, but that's like edge case if you're here for like eight years, they'll just kick you out and only give you a bit of. That's not really a good thing. What are the required? Oh, sorry. Okay, does lateral entry cause any problems? Not necessarily, I guess. I don't think like people will see it as a redemption arm or something. Yeah, I mean, I don't think it matters. It doesn't really matter. So you can get your CG high, that should be enough. You don't have any problems later. We don't care about your college after two, three years of job. Yeah, it doesn't really matter. College doesn't matter anymore. same thing tc and four semesters marksheet so five documents keep them ready you'll send you though what to bring in mail zone Okay, same thing. Reporting would be, I think, 24th or something. Let me check that also one second. I think it was one day before class. No, no, it was not one day. I think it was three days. Okay, it says 27th. I think it was on 26th or 27th. No, it says 27th. 27th will be the reporting and then 30th will be your first class thursday i'll just share this document once we send in the whatsapp group what document same thing tc and four marks four semester mark sheet how long are summer and winter and if any so summer is three days three months winter is one month approximately i think first and if you're dual those will be taken for research credit very hard yeah summer no summer and then it depends on your advisors i mean really yeah it depends on your advisor usually first winter will be free because December break after your third semester will be free and then after that summer winter everything you have to stay on campus for I think 75% you have to stay or something usually depends on advisor but that is what happens usually you get three months and two months you get to work and then one month i think you get off so almost 60 percent 66 percent and stay in the lab yeah same thing tc and four semester mark sheet requirement depends on your advisor. Yeah, depends on your advisor. Who we choose advisor. Like some profs require two ASL papers or some require one ASL. Some just graduate without anything. Not anything. I mean, some basic as say person. Doesn't matter. It really depends on your advisor. I don't know for LED, I think someone can tell about LED. Yeah. What change must be. Same only, bro. Water, it is for LCD. It is a lot more project oriented, a lot, lot more work. A lot more. You may or may not find materials on YouTube. Yeah, that's true. That's very true. It's mostly reading books, papers and stuff. And they do give. reading materials and we are very specific about which chapter to read and all. In terms of LCD, I think that's one major thing that it is a bit more rigorous here because for example, if I were to take a course such as OSN, that's operating systems and computer networks together. So in that course, they teach you very less compared to what actually they give us assignments and projects. So most of the stuff you have to do on your own, you have to grind. I mean, AI is allowed, but they recommend you to understand what is happening. Yeah. Yeah. Just get ready to do a lot more work than what you usually do. Yeah. Especially for LEDs, monsoon will be very hectic. Yeah. Those these guys should say whatever you want LCD guys should say whatever they want but LED is harder than one so. Hey, still we got fucked only, you know, after that. Your issue, bro. All LED guys got better CGs than LCD guys in someone, okay? Don't deny that. That is different. That is different. LED, LED guys had to do it on the left side. You guys don't even have signs. You guys don't even have signs. You guys have three courses in spring. Exactly. That spring was the easiest one. Yeah, then Sam 2 of LED is the easiest. You can just chill. So it's opposite for LCD. Same Mr. 3 of LCD is fine, but SMH4 is worse. Yeah, that is too bad. Yeah, GG and rearing is both are bad only. Both are bad only, yeah, both are bad. So I think this is debatable because both of us suffer a lot. Can't really say which is more. But like conclusion, get ready to do a lot more work. Yeah, that is there. Is it true if I stay there and grind DSA and maintain DSA decent CGPA, I'll get placed. Maybe not to replace me, but like... Yeah, obviously. That's a no- brainer. Yes, answer is yes. But it really depends because our intern drive will be after third year. So you have time. You have compared to single degrees. So you get more opportunity to grind more. So yes. How is research? Is it too hectic? I haven't we don't know yet. Yeah. Depends, I think. Depends on your advice and project basically. It, because honestly, after your second year, your summer project starts. So that is kind of, I think, kind of an introduction to how it's going to be throughout your year. I'm on the fourth cell mark sheet. My end term are still going on end 17 June. So recently come late. What should we do? It's fine. I think some people submitted late also. I've not even submitted till now. So yeah, fourth cell mark sheet. It's fine. They don't ask you. Yeah. So, okay. Ec, can we see? We'll be doing with 2025 batch only Sunday is holiday. Or easy. It's like you will have tutorials on Saturdays. It's up to you if you want to go or not. So. Yeah, actually, even in Sem3 LCD, we had only one course on Saturday. So it's kind of like a holiday if you don't mind waking up early. LED guys should know this. There's Jaykant here. I don't think I'll do that. I know seniors who are grand. I don't know about our badge because we haven't done anything is open. Okay. Like what do they mean? How strong is the crowd? Like, what do they mean? You know, like very capable people are sometimes. Yeah, our seniors are doing the tape outs. So, yeah, interns tape outs. They are very good. We are also doing this. But ours and all is calm, bro. Okay, man. How is mess put there? I think it's decent for me at least it's decent. It's better than my previous college. And the best thing is you can choose the mess if you want to. Yeah, there are three messes and you can choose one of them for every male. Yeah, I think there is, you can say one is Jane and Wedge kind of mess and one is pure Wedge and another one is Wedge non-wedge mix. So it's your choice to go wherever you want. No ragging and all, okay? Balat is ragging, balat is ragging. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, lagging sickly, we don't do it. It's just, uh, you don't even call us. I mean, I don't know, in previous institute and all you called the senior sir and all, don't do that here. Just call us, no, you have to call them, see. You have to call sir here. Okay, fine, maybe others, but like, yeah, at least you don't talk to, but others, I don't know. Yeah, I wouldn't mind. Other seniors might ask you to call them sir, because once I saw seniors studying UG1s to call them sir and ma'am. That is UG1. But no, it is mine, not even a senior one. We don't mind, but they might mind. Some of your batch mates will be kind of good and some of your plus one right in our batch. So they'll also understand that you are early guys, you don't have to call them sir. They'll understand. It's not much of an issue. Not right now. Not right now, next year. Eventually. Eventually, yes. If you have a roommate problem or something, you can tell the warden. But you have to be located in the same area. Can relate. What I can relate. There's so many people speaking, I went here. I said you could relate to that. I said Reddit. You will all get the same area. So yeah, so basically if there's any roommate issue, you just can't switch. I think unofficial, use it a lot, unofficial switching. don't know. No one really cares, no. I guess you just need to inform them. No, I think it's too much work if you inform them. It's easier if you don't inform them. Exactly. Just check the unofficial doesn't matter. I don't think they've ever checked. Who is in whose room? True, true. They didn't check. Tushar Gupta. I think Tushar Gupta is R. Tushar. Is it R. Tushar? Yes, yes. Sushar, we had a question for you. This one, no? Shushar, bye. Yeah, that. Okay. Shushar, if you have any thing to say. For digital, I guess it's pretty much good here. I don't think more people are there in analog. Like some people like Jaykant and all are focusing on analog. Or mainly people trying for digital here. There are Jal people and Jal working on analog. Guys, Tushar has the best advisor among all LDD, so you all have to respect him. Yeah, like, see basically these guys have went through some true grueling semesters and they know what should they have to do. We, I don't know about your previous colleges, mine was pretty light, so I took it that way in the beginning. So like, yeah, it's basically that like they know the system and stuff, but we'll also learn within time, don't worry. Yeah, so basically they know how things work here. So they know it's much better than us. And that is, in a way, that is a disadvantage because they have more experience in terms of triple ID, how triple ID works. We don't. Like, for example, I didn't know that solving PYQs would get you like high marks or something that I got to know later. Some things you learn with time, don't need to worry about it. Socially, I think you'll have trouble making friends initially. I don't know about LED. I think it depends on your own socialization skills. Yeah. Depends on the people around also, because they would have formed all the groups. Yeah, you all at least will form a group basically for a while. I mean, EPIC. And also I don't... Hey, what's your team? Should I argue? Stay safe. So I don't know about LCD, but LED at least our seniors have done way too much. So everybody looks at us as if we know a lot, etc. But we are not as good as our seniors. Yeah, so we have respect. I mean, there is, there are, Apex, you know, Apex, the student body is planning on doing something for the LE which is coming as well. I've talked to Apex people, they are like, we'll do some induction, we'll do some events and stuff. We'll see how that goes, I'm not sure. I guess one more thing was, I don't know, the imposter syndrome thinking if I can cope with all these people, etc. I don't know if others had. Yeah, okay, guys, whoever is here. I had that. I think that's definitely that. Yeah, now I can, now I feel everybody is dumb, but that time I didn't feel that way. So that's something to cope with and deal with in the starting. We have mental health counselors, you can go to them. It's not really that required. I mean, you just talk about your friends and it will be, I think, mentally fine. I mean, if you need any help, you should go. I mean, one question for all the juniors. Whoever is here if you want a specific LE merch, do raise your hand. Money is fine. We'll see later. It's not happening, Harit. No, CSD and all, they don't have specific merch. Why should we get? I'm just telling. Just get a rough idea. Okay, we'll have this conversation later. And nah, it says, okay, fine, whatever. How would you rate that actual teaching quality? That's a rigorous curriculum to be ready. I mean, if I LCD at least props are pretty good. Like one or two props might seem bad, but rest all of them are fine. They teach well. The rigorous curriculum, it's not exactly rewarding in the sense that, but you can put something on your resume. I think that would, is what if you mean rewarding. See, definitely, you do some course here, you feel like you learn something. That is true. But like, regarding like teaching quality, it depends on prof to prof as Harit said, like some talks you will find extremely amazing. Some you will feel like what are they even doing and stuff. Yeah. But I'll say most are towards the good side, like most. Yeah. So what about LED, any comments on LED? I mean, depends on course, like science, Pravarkar was as, and like, let's say for ST, the first half was very, it was not so good, but second half was better. They only have first half, though. It depends who is teaching you. Except CT, that's all are good. I don't know, like some are very good and some are weird. So I think all of them are good at research. Yeah, all of them are knowledgeable. If you know how to question them, they'll obviously answer, but not many know how to teach. How what do you rate the campus and hostel environment in terms of cleanliness and necessary facilities ready to be available? I think it's clean, it's pretty clean. Hostel is pretty friendly, fine, cleanly. As Nihal mentioned already, they clean like twice a month your rooms, twice a day, your bathrooms and once every day for referrals. Campus is also pretty clean, so it's good. Yeah, okay. This one, like, as he said, most of us come from institutions were like, I don't know about, I can't say most, but at least I, and I felt like many others came from institution, which was little bit more like, I don't know, little bit more chill and little bit more, papers also were like more kind of, I don't know, just if you study the text and stuff like that, you'll be good enough and stuff. Here you'll have to like actually go go through like pyqs and like some stuff and also you'll have to like learn the tricks and like you know start guessing what the pros will ask apart from that like the see for example in my previous I think most most of you would have had like some 30% midsum weightage 45% nsum so if you didn't do good in midsum or something you grind nsum you make a comeback or something like that but then here you have it like very spread across that you will have to do consistently well like your nsum for some subjects might be even just 20% waitage. So imagine that. So you'll have to do consistently well throughout the semester. That's the reason it drops. But I mean, definitely there are other people also who did pretty well in their first two semesters in like over here. It's just about a matter of consistency and how fast you build it up. That's true. I don't think I need to add anything to that. Everything is covered. You can do both. There are some people who do this. There are some people who do this also. Both of them get around the same CGPA. It's mostly I think what Bala mentioned only because you have to be consistent so it makes you study. Nevertheless, if you are studying in class or at room, you have to study somewhere. So if you don't be attentive in class, you'll have to study on your own before the exams. So you can be attentive in class, but either way you have to study before the exam as well. It's mostly that consistency matters. I think more than consistency matters, you don't have a choice because you'll keep getting assignments. Assignments and projects also. You don't have to try it. You'll be forced to do it. Not like, it's not the thing in LCD though. Maybe in LED it is, but in LCD, some, for example, take OSN only. In OSN, we had completely different assignments and projects compared to what was coming in the exam. Theory in exam and practical in assignment. So. So also like, Also, like, you might be putting the effort and you might not get. You have to, like, prioritize. Like, I realize something. Sometimes, some assignments you do, like, for example, like, your last two weeks of the assignment is going to be really, really hectic with all the project submission. But they might just be 10% rated, and you might be, like, extremely tired after all of that, that you may not have the energy to, like, study very, very seriously for the NSM. So, like, something like, you know, I've heard people where they did a little bit bad in projects, but then, like, properly study the subject and did fine in n sums, mid sums and all exams which was kept and they got like a way better or decent grade so like you'll have to like kind of fix your priorities among academics also that that will be something which will which was very new for me like I just had some study non-study time now you have to choose study but watch study that also true that's very true because like you don't have a choice you have to do everything to get your percentage of like course percentage which is what everyone gets as well so you have to compete in that aspect as well Sometimes you have like a dump load of things to do at one deadline like before n times or before mid to n stuff so you need like before mid to end you need to prioritize some projects over another depending on weight age depending on other grades in that subject depending on how you are doing. AI is allowed as well so if you have any issue you can use AI but you need to explain your thought process and all in the YY that is there. But yeah, obviously. This is not the case for LED, like, your assignments are pretty aligned with the course. Exam. That's good. That's good. Some subject in LCD are also there where your assignments and exams are aligned. Like, AT was there. But most of them, like, OAS and DAS are different. AT we had like... AT maybe we had this programming assignment. It is not really that much. So, assignment was... But the Turing assignments, most out of people have that only. TA1 and TA2 was like the entire thing of your people. But like AT you take, it is very elaborative of a subject. You have to do a lot of lot of works to work through. Because AT itself is very abstract and then they will ask anything. When you attend the first class of Shantana, then you will know like what is AT. You will make a Turing machine and you will be like, what is he doing? not during machine man tfn and then you will think what is he doing that's what it is here yeah oh like also like i don't know if i don't know if other uh I mean other guys over here can delete but like I went through like some faces in my first time that where I was not like attentive for like two three classes and then it became like because of that it just became like that for another four or five classes and then the quiz will come only after that like I would study and catch up with the class so like that will actually like That will actually kind of affect you. So don't try to lose track of what's happening in the class. At least maybe you might not be attended for like 10 minutes in a class during the class. That's fine. But then don't just completely lose it. Just like, because you can do whatever. I don't know about your old colleges. In my old college, you're not allowed to use phone in class and all. But here, people do whatever you want and depends on prof. So don't take that too much into your advantage and just keep wasting time. That's all. Since what documents are required during reporting, sometimes staying in should hostel, when you expect it from there. I mean, you just apply for your TC and four semester mark sheet, that's all. Nothing else, okay. Expected reporting date is 27 July, should be 27 July. CSG lab. CSG lab. CSG, CSG is a good lab. In CSG, I think he's not asking your CSG, bro. He's saying Deepak, sir, no? Deepak, ask Jakant. He's not here, though. Just tell about CSG as a lab, I guess, but no. I guess you also, it's good, I think. It's good, that's a good, I think. What else to say? I mean, it's not terrible like, CSG is both CS and DC. So I'll be able to tell you about the CSG and Mac part, but PC-wise, you know, process-related stuff. Yeah. Process-related stuff. Yeah, I think. Purini under Purini, some people are working on compilers, I guess. Two people, two prom or batch are there. The other perspective of CS is you, if you want to go to PR math and probability and things like that, Borders is there for that. And I think depositing order will be taken. There's one more prop, right. No, no, no, no. No, that ma'am. Pushbo Agrawal or something. Yeah, Pushbo Agrawal is not a prop, I guess. But I think she's taking students and soon she'll also be taking courses, I guess. But she's right now, she's a postdoc. There are many other people who are working in probability and things. If you are interested, you will know if you're interested. Anybody knows what ECA research is that? I don't actually know. Compilers, put it down. No, not yours. Like, we have a side note. So it's like B.P.A. Sir. Sir. I don't actually know what they do. You should ask Jayakhan for that. But B.P.A. should ask Jayakhan. Their lab is pretty good as well. It's very spacious. Yeah, lab is pretty good. They graduate you on time. They're pretty chill. They let you go for interns. Everything is good about it. Yeah. So you will get, I think, decent amount of freedom to choose or to walk on in CSG. You have a lot time, I think, to decide what work you want to do, right? What three acres of programming language or specific fields should be mastered before arriving Mostly your institute stuff, that's all. Nothing else. For first time it is C, for second time writing, it is mostly D. Yeah, Python, JavaScript, whatever. It depends on the code. Yeah. JavaScript and everything, it will come in 3, 2, 2, 2, when you have done. In first term, it is mostly pure C for OSN and I guess xv6. So I have C language in Python, JavaScript, water. And then C requisites, I think, just those courses which you learn in your first year. Yeah. They get used to Linux as well. Asirwad is saying inside. In Ellie, there is no one in CMC. There's no one in Cesar also. Nelly. CMC on, sir. Cyberman Central Center. Shardul is not Shardul is not? Puri ni, I think. Under Puri ni. In our case, no one went to see. I was almost in C-star. C-star is mostly based on theory to go for like Chilada, Surajit Chilada and I guess one or two, Kanan Kajas. Kanan Kajas. Yeah, and distributed system, I guess, there is Kishore, Kothapal-le, sir. So they mostly work on PR theory. Chilada's work is like purely purely theoretical. There is nothing he works like his working is on circuits and exploring the structure of circuits to attack problems such as P versus NP and other problems like that. And he's used as structures to go that. If you are in this guy also in C-star, bro. Huh? Yeah. I mean, there is a, this guy also in C-star. He actually took our course numerical analysis. What's his name? I forgot. Pawan Kumar. He's also in C-star. Pawan Kumar works in optimization. Yeah. His work is heavily on station and things like that. CMC just established one year back. So our batch is the first batch to get into CMC. C-star. Once you join, you can talk to people. Yeah, yeah. We have contacts. No, Vedant Kulkarni, he's in C-star. Ankit Gangwal Kender. CMC. Abirup is there. CMC. Abirup. In C-star, I think Mayank is there. From any seniors, our seniors, they are in C-star, but from our batch delivery list. From our batch, no, there is no one. Half of us are in CVIT only. So. You'll know, they'll send a mail out. Don't worry about this. It's pretty true. You don't have to. not that work self- explainatory you just come they'll give you a piece of paper everything will be written on that when will they call us to campus so i i assume the reporting will be 27 july and classes will start from 30th july same as last year as well almost It's paid to 15, I think. How many of them finish course in five years? No, we don't have stats for this. I think most of the most of the people commission time. No, but ECD, like RCness is to tell like at least six more ones you'll take or something, though. I mean, CSG, I guess it's fine. Even STC, I think some talks are good. I guess only Seavest. Only Seavest can be 5.26. I think it really depends on your advisor. If it takes Arjun, sir, you can do early in four years on this. Is that a bait? But I don't recommend. Your life might, yeah, you'll win, but yeah, fine, next. Yes, definitely. Yes, yes. No, why? This is a good thing. It's problem dependent again. I mean, it's allowed, but some props will tell you not to use laptops. Some props, some. That will kill you for using phone. He almost kills someone. It really depends on which prof. Most of them I don't know. I don't think you will get time to do so first of all like personally speaking I did not get time to explore anything because of the academic coursework load so if you want to explore research work I think you can just go through the websites themselves there'll be a lot of extensive information there you can see what they're working on try to implement if you get time and if you see interest that then I can go for it See, like, you only do courses and if you find something interesting. Also, like, maybe stop the Google Scholars and read papers if you find something interesting to you. Honestly, it doesn't really matter because you end up taking your own props, like, who teach you as your advisor most of the times. Generally, I think I'm not sure. I don't know why do you not? Some people do, some people do, yeah. Just come here, ask all seniors. Like our seniors also, they'll know a lot better. That's how you know. Because it's not purely a research work also. It's heavily guided by your advisor also. True. If there are no courses in second, same. It isn't careers in any areas. I don't think you'll leave all there. You can finish all your work. You can join some corporate or whatever you want to do. But you'll have to come for thesis, like one day or two days, person. Only very select crops will allow this, like one or two maximum. Yeah, I know only one student who has done this. I don't know the name or advisor, but I have heard of one student who did this. But you have to grind a lot for that. You have to grind a lot. I don't know. Many people like finish during like the beta fourth year, but they still have to stay for another year. They have to stay, at least on paper. I mean, you can leave early and do your job or something in the side, but you have to be there in graduation. How do you deal with imposter syndrome? I think you just wait. I think I just, yeah, through overtime, it just gets lesser. People will start up with you. You can't really do much. You'll get to know people are not as smart as you think. There will be edge cases, obviously, who are doing crazy work, but most people are normal. I think most of these guys batch are dumb, no, most of them. Yeah, if it helps, your batch is dumb, but they had lesser cutoff. Yeah. Nihal can answer this. But we also need tips. I think the study properly I guess study daily grind properly you will get I think I'm not sure. Unfortunately, no. We can get a cooler, but we have to pay for that as well. Like monthly charges will be there. But anyway, the rains have started. So it doesn't matter right now. You don't need an AC right now. I'm not sure about this. I think unofficially cooking is allowed. You know, your cats are the electric cattle. Yeah. I think even get like air fries and all as well. No one really cares about that. Even officially it's allowed just outside the room. Outside the room. They have that cooking area. Yeah. There's a kitchen area with basin and all. How many people share the same room? think it's three for now. If you if it will be allocated to new hostel, it will be two. Otherwise, most of us, we are going to stay in Moby. Four from four. Four years already will be four trust. It's not four, I don't think so. It's only three for now. Three, three. Three again. It could be two in your next years, I think, because the new hostel is being built. The new hostel is being built now. Can't really say. Yeah, it's true. And UG1 is not going to new hostel, I think. So new. I mean, UG2 also, the coming UG2 are going to stay in OBH1, you know? Yes, yes. So three anyway. For girls, it's true. For girls, it's true, yeah. Can you give us a broad overview of what sort of work you need to do at triple ADS to stay at top of our cats? How frequent frequency is once a month. So quiz, mid-sem, quiz exam, end-sem. Four exams, totally. It's a green month you will have exams. Yeah, it's mostly quiz, quiz one mid-sem, quiz to end-sem. Every end of the month you will be branding for those. I think it lasts for three days. Who is last for three days for three days? Projects depends on your course. Also, like you. So be ready for that. Are they hard, bro? You guys have crossword puzzles and all. That's still hard. Projects depend on the course. So some projects have course, some projects don't. I think for EC this is like grind every day because I see those EC people grinding every single day. It's not out of choice, bro. We have assignments. I mean, we also have assignments, but they are kind of like spaced enough. This is fine because they allow to give you a bit late as well. And this is random, no, we all had random. And is it random or order of in which you come? I don't remember my... I think it's... Oh, I also don't remember. Yeah, it was random, no, we got a list. It was random, I think. Even I think it's random. Then how come we got media one roll apart? No, because yours... Even in mine, actually. It was just one... No, it depends on your one role apart. No, no, it depends on your LE XXXXXX, that thing. Oh, yeah. Oh, you're saying role number is random. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, then it's random, I guess. Not sure. Saturday is a working day. It's all for easy if you don't want to put it on. In the second term, not in the first term, I mean, even in first term almost. Even in first term, yeah, I didn't put it on. Yeah. But next term started on half days officially. But they end up being holidays if you're easy. For EC also, there's only, for CS also, there's only one course that day. Fine. What exactly makes ACAD harder at Triple IT? Study peers workload. Projects. I'd say peers, the average is here get so much higher than your old colleges. True. They study here actually. Hard to put to it. Everybody studies. Yeah. Workload is also pretty high, in my opinion, but LCD at least. I think Bala already told. where LEDs, uh, demands on it's higher. Yeah, they cramp a lot of syllabus into one course, I guess. So, cramp, I mean, is that the right word? I don't know. Yeah, multiple exists. Same. So, that is also an issue sometimes. I don't understand this question. I don't think there's any necessary procedure for that. The largest X. Yeah, it's the same thing. You have to get your stuff from there, put stuff here. You can courier if you want to, if you have a lot of things to move. Okay, next. Will profs give slides? I mean, it's very subjective. Some profs give slides, some don't. Most of them do, like, if they don't, you need to ask them. So, okay, we had this one prof, okay, and he cuts the important stuff from slides and then sends the slides. So, there will be that kind as well. And it depends like some props have just pointers on the slides and then they like right on the blackboard. Yeah. So you'll have to load down stuff. But some props like Santasar slides will be so good. True. Personally, I did not know anything about research until before coming here. You can say the same thing I think because there's only one guy in our entire batch who had some papers before coming here. As far as I know. But hey, just come here and you'll get along. It's not a worry that much. Anyway, research work starts after your second year. But you have a lot of time. Yeah, this is what I meant. The tuition fees is, I think, 30k for some. That will get siphon, no. You'll get siphon. No, I also got like 17k stipend. No, no need to worry about that. I don't think there are any, though, in my opinion. There's one thing that you can say that any Ellie guy. Yeah, see, see, until now there was no Ellie in Felicity team. So right now there is an Ellie in Felicity team. I guess that is a canon event, I guess. You also have a Ellie DG call. Yeah, exactly. I'm terrified, bro, typhoid. Yeah, water problem. That all is keep happening, it's fine. You'll get used to it. One day you'll wake up and there'll be no water to brush or bath and you'll have class at 8 a.m. That was not that bad, okay? It was happening in summer holidays. It happened one day for us. I had to go to academic block to blush. Yeah, you come to call, is no, first, then we'll give. Why so early right now itself? We'll get this form after your seconds here. Look back, is it worth? Personally, for me, it is worth. At least for me, it's very worth it. Same. So I don't know. I have mixed opinions. Maybe I could have graduated early and gone MS somewhere else. Something like that. like looking back uh we i had personally i had more fun in my old college compared to here but academics here is very good so that way i think it's worth it I think you should ask in what terms you yeah like what doubts you have to make it worth it is too broad for us to give you like for us different things could be important for your different things yeah good advisors we'll tell you after you come here don't yet worry what are tutorials It's it's basically some some questions. Like next question. Yeah. To come here, you understand. Something that TAs take, like teaching assistant take some session to clear doubts. That's that. It doesn't have compulsory attendance. It's not compulsory for LCD at least. We have never went to tutorials. We don't know what is the tutorial. Not for Azar. I mean the support tutorials. Okay. You can I send the syllabus in Discord server. No, are you there in that you can just check those courses just brush up. I think you already know most of them. Yes. I, you say first. I think for LEDs, I don't know, like practice courier transports and all. Yeah, LED I will recommend brushing up on all basics. And obviously for exam and interview you did it, but if you still don't remember, it'll be really useful. It is useful. Yeah, same for LCD as well. Preferably brush up before coming. Damn, bro. Not recommended because it's not allowed. You can get a disciplinary committee on you. Very strict. Don't really recommend it. Yeah, you get it very easily also, so don't try. There's only one complaint. And it's done for you. Yeah. Same question again. Why do you want to drag the kids? I don't understand. What do you get? Yeah. Yeah. You'll start dragging him, bro. Depends. Some props I should take some props I'll chill. T.S. will be mostly your seniors plus one, plus two, plus three. Depends on them as well. If you get any seniors, they will be shared towards you, but again, some people like Nicaraguan aren't. So, like this. Yeah, some of us also are BTS, so hopefully. Hopefully. Yeah, hopefully. I don't know how how Fatiihal would be, but hopefully it's good. you can there is not a strict timing you can you can leave at any time come anytime leave anytime doesn't matter same for those What do people do to make connections? Yeah, you can join clubs. You can play sports. You can also go to prom. Provide you have someone. Because at the entry, they make you prove that you're in a relationship. Just be active throughout the events going on and clubs, everything. In fact, I recommend joining those UG1 induction sessions. We did not do it, I think, much, but it's better if you guys do it, you can get to know more people and have fun more. Come to TGC. There's a batch trip also. If you guys are interested, you can go. We didn't go most of us. But I recommend you guys go. Come to TGC events. We have clay stations and all. Yeah. So yes. Yes. You will get another early student as your roommate. Yes. I mean, I think the thing is that if you have a multiple of three. So you get, I'm not sure if you get a different number. How does that work? I'm not sure. One bad thing is definitely CGPA. Not for Nihal, obviously. It depends, I mean, three good, three good things. I mean, you have more freedom, actually, as compared to my previous college. Yeah, a lot more freedom here. Honestly, for me personally, one good thing is CVIT, because I joined the lab I wanted and I got the advisor which I wanted. So much blacks, bro. Best lab, best prop. yeah most of us are like that only But I feel you can just even just send you invites. Yeah, usually they conduct events or like send you invites and then there's like an interview and yeah, they'll just ask you why you want to be part of it. That's fine. Yeah. You just attend the events, if you like, being in those events, just approach them on how to be in the club. I think that should be fine. Come to TGC, I'll do an apportism for you. Like, honestly, you don't have to worry that much. They're very friendly. They're taking everyone who apply almost. They don't reject anyone. Yeah, everyone should join queer club though. Yeah, you're there now. No. They have a gay me night event, the G-A-Y-M-E night events. It's open for all. You can have fun, I guess. How good is the internet? So we get LAN in hostel, we don't get Wi-Fi. You can use a router and like use open router or something. Bypass reflections. But I think internet is decent, like around 100 MBPS. Not sure. If it works, it's decent. Mostly it works though. It works, it works. uh for lcd at least in sem 3 it was 12 classes per week so on average 1.6 classes per day and in fourth sem it was around 12 12 classes per week so around 12 by 7 per day each class is one and half hour not sure about ld I don't know but some other LED around how many are there for eight? It's the same just for labs it's dependent I guess and that's like three hours, Kirsten. L3 doesn't have labs, LED has. It's very on Wednesday for three hours. Yeah. But yeah, every class is one and a half hour. You will have usually afternoons. I don't want to say that. They're late. Again, no one is working in Seeshtar in our batch. We'll just skip this for now. You'll find the answer to this later once you come to college. What is VCCL? I'm not sure if the person who asked this is in the meet. Is it a lab or? VCCL is not a lab, I don't think so. Where is Devang, bro, he left. Bro, he was there till now. He has another meeting, it seems. I mean, they just work on brain stuff, how semantically you map your words in brain and stuff. It depends because we know Aluri ma'am, which Devang is advisor. They work on music, cognition. I've heard good things about them though from seniors. Bapiraju is the best I think is what I've heard. Vishnu Kumar sir and Bapiraju sir. You can come here and explore but there is Devang. You can remember it for now and text him later. Provary is to go to it, bro. No, no. Probably because our seniors are good, you know. Honestly, honestly, if I have to answer this. See, we all applied for pre-cog and pre-cog didn't turn out good. So the next best is CVAT and yeah, here we all are. I think that's the reason why most of us are in CVAT. Not sure about other seniors, but that's my assumption though. Yeah, prepock task is a bit hard, like a very competitive. Can't do anything. What does this mean? The question are also from people on the fence for opting to go to Triple H either way, so telling you will know when you come is a bad answer. I'm not sure I get the question. No, like some people are still not sure if they want to join. So they want to know beforehand before they, you know, decide. Yeah, that's what we are keeping the session for. No, no, like regarding the advisors and stuff, they want to know beforehand. Yeah. It's pretty good. Honestly, I've seen people do better from every lab. There is no exactly a bad lab or a bad advisor or something. If you want a chill advisor, you can take a chill advisor depending on which lab you want to join, but it's mostly subjective. Some people will say the same advisor is good. Some people will say the same advisor is bad. So you have to personally make choices. Okay, wait, we got a good question. If Sami is, is Sami there? Let me check, wait second. Sami is there? I don't think Sami is in it though. Sami is around 9, no. I didn't tell about CG, bro. I think someone is spoofing his account. Okay, okay. Yeah, Gursai only mostly. Yes, Sami isn't precog, that is one thing. What do you guys wish you would have done better differently since joining? Personally, I think I would have interacted with UG2s more because they know how things work here, what are the tricks and all. That was, I think that's the only one thing I would have done different. If anyone else wants to add. Yeah, you guys are allowed to go in prom, but you need to prove that you're a couple. So you'll have to kiss in front of them. So then only you're allowed, yeah. How many classmates throughout the year? I don't get the question. If you're asking how many people are there in the class? For CS, it's around 200, 240 or something. For EC, I think it's similar. I'm not sure. EC, I think EC people can comment better. He told 150, not sure. But that is for only... No, I think that is for only the company. Yeah. I think it's like 120, 150. I'm not sure, but in that range. He'll keep decreasing up because after first year you'll take electives and all. Yeah. Thank you for attending. Yeah, that's all doubts in the chat as of now. Damn, bro. 89. Oh, there's one more. We'll keep this on the screen and then we'll, I think, end it. If no more questions. If someone wants to talk, you can talk. Yeah, if someone wants to speak out, you can speak out. We don't have to be. We are all seniors only, so it's fine. Yeah, you have company almost now. Plus you know us through Discord, so you know us anyway. Or you can send in chat as well if you guys have something. I think that's it. We can end the meet here. Yeah, I guess. Yeah. If no more questions, we'll end the meet. Fine. Okay. Thank you. Oh, Garv has something. Hello, Garv. Hello, Garv. Hello, Garv. Okay, sorry, mistake. Okay. It's okay. Hey, you're not going to ask. Okay. Okay, we'll see you guys in campus soon, hopefully. Yeah. Make sure you guys fill the form, fill the fees if you're planning on coming. I think Nihal, you can tell any drawbacks if you're like thinking of not joining here. If for LCD, I definitely recommend coming here compared to T3 colleges is much better. I mean, in LAD is compared to T3, it's much better. It's only a problem. You are from a good enough college, if you were. Like, you could just do M-Tech if you wanted to and go outside or something like that. Yeah, that's what Marzino is saying in the chat also. The value of triple IT's beta degree is so quite high, I think. Much better, yeah. I mean, that's that, but if you're from an already good enough college, yeah. Yes, so we can end here. Congratulations to every one of you again. I'm hoping to see you guys here. So we'll end. We'll end if the lagging is over in chat. Okay, fine. See you guys bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye
